You have taught her a grounding exercise. You have not yet taken a trauma history. It is session three. Oksana is describing a night shift during a respiratory outbreak two winters ago. Partway through a sentence about a resident's family on the phone, her voice flattens and she stops. Her breathing becomes shallow and rapid and her gaze fixes on a point near the floor.
